Treatments

What Rebecca uses.

Every patient gets the right combination — never a fixed protocol. The mix of manual therapy, soft-tissue work, needling and progressive loading is decided after the first assessment, and adjusted as you progress.

In-person only. These treatments are hands-on and require an in-person clinic visit. For online assessment, exercise programming or progress reviews, book an online consultation.

Osteopathic articulations
Soft tissue techniques
  • 01

    Osteopathic articulations

Rhythmic, low-velocity joint articulation used to restore range, reduce stiffness and improve circulation around the joint capsule.

Typically used for — Restricted joints, post-immobilisation stiffness, recurrent mechanical pain.

  • 02

    Joint mobilisations

Graded passive mobilisations applied to specific joints to modulate pain and restore accessory motion. Used in combination with active loading to lock improvements in.

Typically used for — Reduced range, joint-specific symptoms, post-injury or post-surgical recovery.

  • 03

    Soft tissue techniques

Hands-on assessment and treatment of muscle, tendon and fascia. Combines deep work with focused mobilisation to address adhesions and persistent muscular tension.

Typically used for — Persistent muscular tension, training-related tightness, post-event recovery.

  • 04

    Myofascial release

Sustained pressure applied to fascial restrictions to release adhesions and improve glide between tissue layers. Often combined with movement to address layered patterns.

Typically used for — Chronic tightness, fascial restrictions, postural and movement-related compensations.

  • 05

    Dry needling

Fine acupuncture-style needles inserted into trigger points to release myofascial tension. Different from acupuncture — the targets are anatomical, not meridian-based.

Typically used for — Trigger points and persistent muscular knots that don't respond fully to manual therapy alone.

  • 06

    Scar tissue treatment

Specific manual techniques to mobilise post-surgical and traumatic scar tissue, restore glide between fascial layers, and improve cosmetic and functional outcome.

Typically used for — Post-surgical scarring, adhesion patterns affecting movement or sensation.

  • 07

    Tailored rehabilitation

Progressive loading programmes that take you from acute injury or surgery back to your baseline activity. Programmes are written specifically for you and updated each session.

Typically used for — Post-surgical rehab, return-to-sport, persistent injury that hasn't resolved with passive treatment.

  • 08

    Exercise prescription

Specific home and gym programmes prescribed alongside in-clinic treatment. Short, deliberate and chosen for the result they need to produce.

Typically used for — Anyone in active rehab, performance loading, and long-term maintenance.

A note on combination treatment.

Most sessions combine two or three modalities — for example, joint articulations to restore range, dry needling to release a stubborn trigger point, then ten minutes of loading work to lock the new movement in.

You won't pay separately for each modality. The session price is the same whether you receive one technique or four.
